CompassionAsia December 2008

I want to give you a report on what the Lord has enabled us to do this year with the funds we’ve received for CompassionAsia. I am so grateful to the Lord for people like you who have helped us this past year.

Bhaktapur Children’s Home

We have been able to fully support the 14 children in our children’s home in Bhaktapur, Nepal, give them extra for Christmas and purchase a projector and guitar that was needed for outreach.  The following is a breakdown of the funds that were given for Bhaktapur Children’s Home in 2008:

Sophia Primary School

You were able to help Sophia Primary School in Nepalgunj, Nepal, by sponsoring 12 of the 35 children that need assistance as well as send special offerings to aid them with day-to-day operating costs. The school is part of a social organization that was founded by the Nepali senior pastor’s wife, Sushila. She and I have a heart to help the rural Nepali believers come out of poverty and suffering.  I will share more about our village development projects in the months to come.  The following is what you’ve done to help this ministry:

Our partnership together has enabled us to give over $21,000 to deserving Nepali believers. Thank you for your compassion and prayers this past year.  My prayer for you in 2009 is that God will bless you in ways you’ve not imagined.
