Victor & Esther Nazareth

Gurgaon City

Bev and I are in Delhi, visiting a work we helped launch five years ago with Pastor Victor Nazareth.  That work in the Delhi region has grown steadily and has multiplied to seventeen churches and about 1,000 believers.  Though I have met with Victor nearly every year, it has been three years since I visited Delhi and the work there.

From Delhi I will travel with a small group of young, missions minded adults overland north through India to the Nepal border.  We will spend two weeks in India and four weeks in Nepal, ministering in leadership meetings and visiting churches.  We will also be ministering in a difficult and extremely isolated region of west Nepal where our blind hostel is located.  This is my first time to take a group on such a challenging journey and if all goes well, I hope to do this every year.

While I am in Nepal, Bev will travel south to Sri Lanka where she has organized a leaders event for the wives of our village and city church pastors.  She has 125 Sri Lankan women attending and she is hosting six American pastors' wives who will help her with the ministry.  I am so proud of how Bev has organized this event, believed God for the finances and moved by faith to see it through.

This is a first for us … heading in two different directions, and I'm as excited about our multiplication as a couple as I am about the multiplication of the churches.  Bev has really stepped up into a new level of faith.

Many thanks to Church of the Highlands for their commitment of $15,000 to help finish our model church building in Nepalgunj.  And many thanks for the $1,570 that was given last month toward the relief effort in Pakistan.  We've wired those funds to our Islamabad church and I'll send a report next month on how they were disbursed.

Thanks for all you are doing to stand alongside us.
